One out of 13 people are sexual minority

According to a survey by Dentsu’s Diversity Lab in April 2015, 7.6% of individuals in Japan identified as a sexual minority.
LGBTQ+ refers to lesbian (L), gay (G), bisexual (B), transgender (T), queer or questioning one’s sexuality (Q), and other (+) for those that identify as gender fluid or don’t indentify with any particular gender or sexuality.
With this result, an estimated product and services market size was calculated as 5.94 trillion yen.
